SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY

Factory Closing for flood leaves unanswered questions:

On Thursday February 2nd, the proprietors of The Factory Nightclub announced they closed the small bar "For maintenance, due to flooding."  Plumbing and repair vehicles have not been seen at the location, nor were there signs of water being pumped. There were also no signs of damaged carpet, walls or flooring. Attempts to discuss the closing with the Factory owners gained no response.

Sirene, an employee of The Factory, said when asked about the unscheduled closing, "Pipe that supplies water to the fish tank burst and we had a flood. Took all day to clean the place up." While talking with me, a sign was placed stating, "Wet Floor" and the windows were opened.

This has some citizens worried. A citizen who asked not to be identified, said they were anxious that the flood damage might be a breeding ground for bacteria, vermin and stench, in a public place serving food and drinks. They also mentioned not recalling a fish tank in the club previously.

Others mention the possibility that there was, in fact, no flood damage. This leaves some asking, why then, the small bar closed at all and what they might be covering with such a story. At this time, there is no evidence that it was truly a cover-up.

At the moment of publication of this article, The Factory is running at normal operating hours with no further complaints or difficulties.
